    I read a lot of info on losing weight and luckily, this one *wasn’t* demeaning and not useful like most of them. It has good facts and tips that give you a good start to losing weight without exercise. Just keep in mind you might be a healthy weight and don’t need to lose weight. It’s a bad societal habit to focus on weight when many people are at a healthy weight. If you have an eating disorder, seek professional help.

    As a dietitian with extensive experience in weight loss and weight maintenance I have to say that Zoe Hamilton has presented the weight loss rules in a concise and precise way. Yes, it is true that exercise is one of the best investment you can do to ensure better health. But when it comes to weight loss it is much more important the type of food you eat (and how much of it), than how much exercise you do. So, if you are too busy to exercise (or you’re just not into it!) but still want to lose weight I strongly recommend this book as a starting point.

    This book I just had to have. I have tried many ways to reduce my weight, but I’ve never read a diet book that does not include exercise as part of your diet. Exciting reading on what foods you should eat to control hunger. I will definitely try out this diet.
