If you want to get lean in 4 weeks, you have start off by getting organized. A lot of people just start doing the diet or the exercise plan without working out exactly the steps they need to take in order to do it. What I suggest you do first is get your life in order. If you’re going to the gym you’re going to have to put it into your schedule. The truth of the matter is, you’re going to avoid doing exercise unless you make it convenient for yourself. You’re going to avoid doing the diet plan if it isn’t easy to follow. Believe me, I know. I’ve been on diet plans that had foods I never eat and I didn’t want to eat. So how can you organize your life so you can follow a sensible diet plan?
The first thing you must do is workout weekly what foods you are going to eat for the week. I usually do my grocery shopping once a week. You might run out of vegetables or fruits during the week and you might want to include a shopping night in the middle of the week. Alright, now you have the shopping list. Make sure you aren’t hungry when you do the shopping. I don’t know if you’re like me, but if I’m hungry I buy all kinds of foods that are ridiculous. Make sure you make a list and stick to it.
Also, organize the exercise. A lot of time, we want to go to the gym but the time you need to set aside is too much for your busy schedule. So you don’t exercise at all. I suggest exercising when you are doing other things. For example, I take the stairs as much as possible. I do squats and lunges while watching TV. I run around the house when I’m straightening up. I have recently started to do major house cleaning, which really gets me moving around and sweating. I recently put in a program of light weights while watching TV. If you’re reading this, I’m assuming you’re not a heavy duty weight lifting pro. You’re like me. You have to get up off that couch and move your behind.
