The best way to increase your daily fiber intake is to eat a can of black beans everyday. You don’t have to eat all of them at one meal. Spreading them out over the whole day is better anyway. There are 25 grams of fiber in one can of black beans. With the increased fiber in your diet you will need to drink more water.

2. Eat 3 Apples or 3 Bananas a Day.

This is continuation of adding additional fiber to your diet. Remember we are looking for 40 grams of fiber a day. Apples and bananas have about 5 grams of fiber each. So the addition of the 3 pieces of fruit brings us up to the 40 grams of fiber a day.

This increase in fiber will clean your intestinal tract. It is key to both short term and long term weight lose. Your intestial tract most likely has 5 to 10 pounds of solid waste and fetal matter stuck to the walls of the intestines. If you are more than 25 pounds overweight there is more material adhering.
